The story behind the bottle:
The design for my bottle was inspired by the famous Salamanca Market. In my younger years I worked in a stall selling lollies there, and will never forget the impact of that experience; such vibrancy! Great excitement can be found sitting and watching people go about their business. The geometric lined patterning on the front of the bottle hopes to refract the image created in the mind of the market stalls lining the road. The waves pay homage to the Derwent river, flowing with history and new promising creativity. The red circle at the back of the design speaks of an early morning pilgrimage that most Tasmanian locals would be familiar with – braving the winter chill at day break in the hunt for a hot cup of coffee amongst the bustling market crowd.
