Originally a French cheese, from Corsica, which is made from sheep’s milk. Brebichon has the edible outer rind of penicillium candidum that is common on the soft ripened cheese varieties, giving it a small biscuit look to an unopened cheese. Within, the cheese has a creamy, bright white texture that provides a rich and somewhat nutty flavor. This rich soft paste cheese will leave you with a delicate sheep’s milk essence propelled by the freshness of apples. Each wheel of cheese is hand-washed prior to its aging stage. The Brebichon is a perfect mix of softness and deep-flavored taste, solely created for pure enjoyment.
How should I use this cheese?
Enjoy the Brebichon on your favorite nuts and apple grilled bread. Savour it in your burgers with mushrooms and onions sauté. Melt it in a caquelon and serve it with cranberry, honey, nuts… as your heart desires.
Make sure to keep the Brebichon in its original crystal type paper packaging in the refrigerator, where its aging will come to perfection.

We post all internet orders every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. Any orders received after Tuesday will be sent the following week. We DO NOT send on Thursdays and Fridays as we do not want to risk the cheese sitting at a post office over the weekend getting hot.
It takes 2 days to travel to most capital cities; however it can take up to 3 days for more remote areas.
The cheese is transported in a Styrofoam esky with chemical ice that does not leak liquid. The cheese is then packed in bubble wrap and shredded paper to help protect the products.
Your order come with its own tracking number so if it does not arrive on time or is lost please contact us and we will contact Australia post to resolve the issue.
Please make sure you are home on the day of delivery. If you are not home then Australia Post will try to call you on the details you have provided with this order. Sometimes they will not call you and simply leave a note in your letter box telling you to pick it up from your local post office. If this occurs please retrieve it ASAP so that you receive your cheese in its best condition.
If you are not ordering any cheese and only products that do not need to be sent chilled, please email us your order as we can send it to you as regular post at a cheaper rate.
Some cheeses are more fragile than others. The softer the cheese the more fragile it is in postage. We pack all orders to the best of our abilities however we are sometimes limited by space and weight and trying to keep it all cool sometimes makes things very tricky.
